I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me.
Our ministry is the bowl underneath the cup that represents our own spiritual life. If we wish to see our ministry being filled, it must be through the overflow of our own personal walk with God.
True. If your spiritual life is dry, your ministry will suffer as well. Before actually going into service, make sure you are constantly being filled spiritually. I’ve seen people who try to work their ministries out through their own human capabilities. I, myself, had been a victim of ministry burnout in the past. It is important to make sure that service comes out of your deep love for Christ and concern for the world, rather than the result of obligation and/or some other ulterior motive. Without Christ, it is nothing.
