DO YOU WANT TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE?

I have loved you with an everlasting love. (Jeremiah 31:3)

I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me.

Basically seeing this unfolding in my Tumblr dashboard right now.

I guess, people are people; and although the Bible is inerrant and infallible, people’s interpretation of the Bible is not error-free.

Maybe before answering a question concerning sin and/or faith, make sure that the answer you would give would not be merely an opinion but based on Biblical truth.

How could one say someone can become a Christian and continue on with his sinful nature because God can forgive or God’s grace abounds anyway? That is downright blasphemous and a slap on the face of the Gospel. Jesus didn’t die so his blood and grace could be used in vain. Sure, we still stumble, make mistakes, and have tempting urges, and that is why we have to be thankful for this grace that restores, but to confess to being a Christian yet still indulging in acts that are disgusting to God? No, there should be none of that.

Either you are for Christ or against Christ. Nothing in between.

When you say you are a “Christian”, you are a “Christian”. Period. You are not the one living anymore, it is Christ living in you. No ‘homosexual’ Christian, ‘porn watching’ Christian, ‘drunkard’ Christian, ‘fornicating’ Christian, or any other worldliness attached to the sacred word.

Oh, Lord, let this not be a twisted generation.
