Joel Osteen: Jesus got up, and He simply spoke to the storm. He said "Peace, be still!" and all of a sudden, there was a great calm—and the reason Jesus was able to bring peace to that situation was because He had peace on the inside. He was in the storm, but He didn't let the storm get in Him.
Justin Peters: ... I'm gonna go out on a theological limb here, and wonder: might it have had anything to do with the fact that.. oh, I don't know, that.. that He was God?

When you go to your prayer closets tonight, please...
My faith is seriously being tested right now. I think a large part of it has to do with the fact that it is very hard for me to trust people nowadays, Christians and non-Christians alike. The former, because of fear of being associated with the “goats”; the latter, because I do not want to be eaten by their worldview in my time of shakening. Another reason is my line of study, in...

May 21.
Before I dove into today’s Word, I felt the need to be quiet as this question pressed into my heart: “Why do you believe in Jesus?” I sat silently and contemplated. I know that I am not supposed to “blindly” believe without a reason. Sometimes, it’s like that with long time Christians especially those who have been born in a Christian family. We accept...

nameaboveallnames replied to your post: With the things that are happening to the world… My thoughts yesterday. I’m honestly burdened. The world is getting more wicked (as prophesied) and some of those who call themselves “Christians” are embracing a compromised/blasphemous/counterfeit/ridiculous kind of belief (as prophesied). I wouldn’t have a problem if I...

With the things that are happening to the world right now, sometimes, I wish that Jesus would come already. It’s so hard to live in this world.

Godly Men and Impostor Boys →
thesweetermelody: Yesterday, I realised something profound. I realised what the main relational significance was between a man chasing after the things of God, and a boy trying to play the former with impressive theology. It’s simply this: the man of God wants a woman of God as a spouse. Above all, he wants the lady that is prized far more than rubies. The boy, simply put, wants a woman of God…...

Me (driving): Why is there an ABS sign showing on the dashboard?
Dad: That's nothing. It'll be gone if you turn off the engine.
Me: (approaches a stop light, turns off the engine; tries to restart but it won't) WHY IS IT NOT STARTING?! DAD!!!!
Dad: You forgot to put it in "park" first!
Me: (scurries to put it in park then turns on the engine, light already green) Gah!! (Lulz)

I cannot choose the people I serve.
Just like how Jesus didn’t serve only those who follow Him. He died for people who hated Him and persecuted Him. He loved without condition. In the same way, I need to love those whom I have been given to love, regardless of anything. In the end, what would matter is that I did my part. I obeyed. I may not be put in the best situation, but any situation, as long as God is with me,...
